In the second quarter of 2025, Xiaomi shipped more than 5.4 million air conditioners. This number represents a growth of over 60% when compared to the same three month period in 2024. This achievement set a new record for the company’s sales in the category.
These air conditioner sales were a significant factor in the performance of the company’s Smart Large Home Appliances division. The revenue for this entire division, which also includes products like refrigerators and washing machines grew by 66.2% compared to the previous year.
The increase in air conditioner shipments suggests that this product category is becoming a more substantial part of Xiaomi’s business which has historically been known for its smartphones. It points to the company’s continued expansion into the home appliance market.
