Vijayakumar C has been re-appointed as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at HCLTech. His new term will begin on September 1, 2025, and run through March 31, 2030.
Vijayakumar, who has led HCLTech as CEO since October 2016, has played a key role in accelerating the company’s global expansion and digital transformation. Joining HCL in 1994 as a senior engineer, he has grown through the ranks, holding strategic leadership positions across technology, business, and operations.
Under his guidance, HCLTech has made strong strides in digital, cloud, engineering, cybersecurity, and AI, becoming a global technology leader. An alumnus of P.S.G College of Technology, he holds a degree in electrical and electronics engineering.
