Huawei is set to launch its Mate XTs smartphone on September 4, 2025 in China. This new phone will be the successor to last year’s Mate XT model. The Mate XTs continues with Huawei’s design of a tri-fold smartphone.
This model is expected to have an upgraded processor, likely the Kirin 9020 chip. It will support satellite communication and 5G networks. The phone runs on Huawei’s HarmonyOS operating system.
In terms of camera features, the Mate XTs is rumored to have a 50-megapixel main camera with a variable aperture and a periscope telephoto lens, aiming to improve photography capabilities. The screen size and battery capacity of the new model are expected to be similar to the previous version. The price is expected to be around $2,800.
