Shilpa Gupta has been appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) – India at GE Aerospace, and will also serve as the Bangalore Site Leader. In this role, she will lead technology strategy, engineering teams, and site operations in India, supporting GE Aerospace’s innovation goals and strengthening India’s role in global aerospace programs.
Before this, Shilpa was CTO – India at GE Vernova and served as Executive Director and Board Member at GE Renewable Energy Technologies Pvt. Ltd.. She managed large engineering teams across multiple locations and handled key governance and site responsibilities. With over 20 years of experience at GE, General Motors, Infosys, and CEAT Limited, she brings strong expertise in engineering leadership, technology, talent development, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
