Honda Motor Co., Ltd. has announced that it will adopt a refreshed H mark as the new symbol for its automobile business.

The H mark has represented Honda automobiles since 1963 and has been updated several times over the decades. The latest redesign aligns with the development of Honda’s next generation electric vehicles including the Honda 0 Series. The new design is intended to reflect Honda’s renewed focus on innovation and its aim to rethink mobility from the ground up.

The refreshed H mark is designed to resemble two outstretched hands symbolizing Honda’s commitment to expanding mobility possibilities and serving customer needs. Honda plans to apply the new mark to next generation EVs and hybrid electric models introduced from 2027 onward.

Beyond vehicles, Honda will extend the use of the new H mark across dealerships, brand communications and automobile motorsports activities. The company views this change as part of a broader transformation often described as a second founding of its automobile business.
