Apple is hiring an EMC Design Technologist to work on electromagnetic design and simulation for consumer electronics. The role focuses on EMC, ESD, EMI and RF exposure performance and supports the development of reliable and compliant products. The person will work with cross functional teams and contribute to simulation driven design decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform system and module level EMC ESD EMI and RFE simulations
• Prepare and simplify CAD and board designs for simulations
• Run hybrid EM and circuit simulations using s parameters
• Review electrical and mechanical designs and validate simulations through experiments
• Collaborate with engineering teams to solve EMC and EMI challenges
• Apply AI and ML techniques to improve simulation workflows

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in EMC or electromagnetic related field
• 3+ years of experience with EM simulation tools such as CST ANSYS EMCoS or COMSOL
• Strong understanding of EMC EMI and RF exposure fundamentals

Preferred Qualifications:

• PhD in EMC or EM related field
• 5+ years of experience in EMC RF antenna or SI PI domains
• Experience using AI tools in simulation workflows
• Knowledge of wireless power transfer and RF exposure standards
• Strong analytical problem solving and communication skills
