Apple is hiring a System Integration Lead to join the System Firmware and Diagnostic Group. This role focuses on leading manufacturing test development and system bring up for products such as iPhone iPad MacBook and Apple Watch. The position works closely with hardware software and operations teams to ensure product quality and test readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead manufacturing test definition and execution for new products
- Support bring up of new SoCs chipsets sensors and systems
- Scope development of drivers tools frameworks and validation utilities
- Enable test strategies for new components
- Support new product builds locally and at manufacturing sites
- Act as first level triage for test and software issues
- Drive cross functional debugging and issue resolution
- Track tasks priorities and process improvements
- Communicate program status to leadership and executive teams
- Travel to prototype manufacturing builds when required
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of engineering experience
- 3+ years of program management experience
- Strong understanding of software development fundamentals
- Ability to work in fast paced development cycles
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in SoC development and testing
- Experience working with contract manufacturers
- Linux command line or scripting knowledge
- Experience with macOS or iOS
- Python or Lua scripting experience
