Partnership Focuses on Digital Engineering Tools and Startup Scaling
Siemens has joined the European Space Agency EPIC initiative to support the growth and commercialization of space startups across Europe.
Through this collaboration, Siemens will provide startups from ESA’s Business Incubation Centres with access to Siemens Xcelerator software, digital twin capabilities, and engineering tools to help design simulate and validate complex systems. The partnership also includes mentorship and technical expertise to support product development and scaling.
The EPIC initiative aims to help startups transition from early-stage innovation to industrial-scale deployment, strengthening Europe’s capabilities in the global space economy. Siemens’ involvement is expected to enhance engineering workflows and accelerate development cycles for participating startups.
ESA’s incubation network spans 37 centers and has supported more than 2,000 startups to date. The collaboration will also extend to projects under ESA Technology Brokers and Phi-LabNET programs.
