Recognition Reflects Focus on Electrification and EV Ecosystem Development

Hyundai Motor Company has been named to Fast Company’s 2026 Most Innovative Companies list, highlighting its efforts in electrification and electric vehicle development.

The recognition reflects Hyundai’s progress in expanding its EV portfolio, including the introduction of the IONIQ 9, a three-row electric SUV aimed at new customer segments. The company has also continued to invest in manufacturing capabilities in the United States, supported by its Metaplant facility in Georgia.

Hyundai’s strategy includes strengthening EV infrastructure through initiatives such as the IONNA charging network and adoption of the North American Charging Standard to improve charging accessibility. The company is also developing customer-focused programs like EV subscription services and integrated home charging solutions.

In addition to vehicle development, Hyundai is advancing work in areas such as robotics and autonomous mobility as part of its broader transformation.
