Nikon APDIS MV5X Laser Radar Enables High-Speed Industrial Measurement
Nikon Corporation has launched the APDIS MV5X, a new laser radar system designed for high-speed and high-precision non-contact measurement in manufacturing.
The APDIS MV5X offers up to six times faster scan speeds compared to previous models, helping reduce production downtime and improve efficiency. It is built to deliver accurate measurements across different stages of the manufacturing process.
The system features a compact and lightweight design under 12 kg, making it suitable for both portable use and integration with robots or automated guided vehicles.
It can operate consistently across various environments, from controlled measurement rooms to production lines, ensuring uniform data and accuracy.
The device is based on Nikon’s optical technologies, including NIKKOR lenses, and draws on over 25 years of experience in laser radar development.
