Tata Electronics is hiring a Customer Quality Engineer to manage customer facing quality and ensure product reliability. The role focuses on handling customer issues failure analysis and driving continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as primary interface for customer quality issues
- Handle complaints deviations and escalations
- Lead 8D problem solving and corrective actions
- Perform failure analysis for IC and package issues
- Work with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve defects
- Track quality metrics like PPM DPPM and RMA trends
- Drive continuous improvement to reduce defects
- Support new product introduction and risk mitigation
- Ensure compliance with customer quality requirements
- Participate in audits and technical reviews
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Electronics Mechanical or related
- 5 to 9 years of experience in quality engineering
- Strong experience in root cause analysis and 8D methodology
- Knowledge of semiconductor or IC manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with tools like FMEA SPC DOE
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in semiconductor backend manufacturing
- Knowledge of Six Sigma or Lean tools
- Data driven approach to quality improvement
