HPE is hiring a Component Engineer to manage semiconductor components across product lifecycle. The role focuses on supplier changes compliance and component qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage supplier product change and discontinuance processes
• Validate semiconductor component specifications and characteristics
• Work on ASICs discretes analog digital and communication ICs
• Identify alternate components using fit form function analysis
• Support component selection based on engineering requirements
• Review quality reliability and compliance data
• Collaborate with supply chain and engineering teams

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Electronics Mechanical or related field
• 5+ years of experience in component engineering or similar roles
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor components and applications
• Experience in product change and lifecycle management
• Understanding of compliance standards like RoHS REACH
• Familiarity with PLM or ERP tools like Agile

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in PCB manufacturing or testing
• Knowledge of component qualification standards
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
