GlobalLogic and Elektrobit have announced an expanded strategic partnership to accelerate the development of next generation software-defined vehicles.

The partnership builds on a 15 year collaboration between the two companies. Until now the work has supported automotive software areas such as Adaptive and Classic AUTOSAR middleware in-vehicle infotainment systems and vehicle connectivity solutions. The expanded alliance moves beyond traditional engineering services and focuses on scaling modern vehicle software platforms for global markets.

Under the new phase GlobalLogic and Elektrobit will work closely on high performance computing software-defined vehicle platforms and broader market enablement. GlobalLogic brings expertise in digital engineering functional safety and cybersecurity to support compliance with industry standards such as ASPICE 4.0 and ISO 21434.

The joint effort aims to help automotive manufacturers adopt software-defined vehicle architectures faster while improving development efficiency cost control and platform scalability across regions.
