KNM Rao has been appointed Vice President Product Development e Bus Division at Olectra Greentech Limited. In this role he will lead product development and engineering efforts to strengthen the company’s electric bus portfolio.
Before joining Olectra Greentech he served as Vice President at Switch Mobility where he worked on EV product readiness and major launches including India’s electric double decker bus. Earlier he held senior roles at Ashok Leyland as General Manager and Platform Director Bus and at Mahindra and Mahindra as Deputy General Manager. His career also includes roles at Tata Technologies, Mahindra Group and Rohini Enterprises. His experience spans automotive engineering, platform development and large scale product programs.
