Vingroup Launches Trade Gas for Electric Program Across Four Markets

Vingroup announced a new Trade Gas for Electric program aimed at supporting customers as global fuel prices remain volatile.

Under the initiative customers who switch from gasoline vehicles to VinFast electric vehicles will receive additional incentives. Buyers will receive a 3% discount on VinFast electric cars and a 5% discount on VinFast electric scooters during the program period.

The program will be implemented across four markets including Vietnam India Indonesia and the Philippines. The incentives will apply alongside other existing promotions available in each market.

In addition the company’s mobility platform will reduce fares for electric ride services. Xanh SM in Vietnam and Green SM in Indonesia will offer a 10% fare reduction from March 11 to March 31 2026 depending on local market conditions.

Vingroup said the initiative is designed to encourage the transition to electric mobility reduce dependence on gasoline and support cleaner transportation options.
