Schneider Electric is hiring a Hardware Design Engineer to lead embedded hardware development and product design. The role focuses on end to end hardware design power electronics and ensuring product reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive end to end embedded hardware development
- Design and test electronic hardware systems
- Work on microcontrollers and peripherals
- Develop power supply systems like SMPS and DC DC converters
- Design analog and digital circuits with simulation tools
- Implement EMI EMC compliant designs
- Perform component selection and circuit optimization
- Review PCB layout and ensure manufacturability
- Support communication protocols like CAN USB Modbus
- Conduct reliability testing and improve design processes
Required Qualifications:
- BE in Electronics Electronics Communication or related field
- 3 to 10 years of experience in hardware design
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems and circuit design
- Experience with simulation tools like PSpice LTSpice
- Understanding of EMI EMC standards and compliance
- Knowledge of PCB design and DFM principles
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with power electronics and signal integrity
- Knowledge of IEC CE UL standards
- Familiarity with communication protocols and testing methods
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
