ASUS has introduced the ProArt PA40SU, a USB4 SSD enclosure designed for creators handling large files and intensive workflows.

The device supports data transfer speeds of up to 40Gbps through USB4 connectivity, enabling faster file transfers and backups. It is compatible with NVMe M.2 SSDs in multiple form factors, offering flexible storage options.

To ensure stable performance, the enclosure includes a four-level smart cooling fan and thermal management system that reduces heat buildup during extended use. This helps maintain consistent speeds during tasks such as 4K video editing and large data transfers.

The ProArt PA40SU also features a compact 13.5mm slim design with a tool-free mechanism for easy SSD installation and replacement. A dedicated ProArt SSD Dashboard provides real-time monitoring of performance and device health.
